Bangladesh Army going to buy Russian Mi-28NM or Mi-35M attack helicopter soon. Recently Russian Helicopters supplied 6 Mi-171Sh combat transport helicopters to Bangladesh ordered previously. Attack helicopters are the dedicated combat platforms used in the battlefield to provide fire support to the forward forces. Bangladesh Army Aviation Group (AAG) building an independent air arm to execute its own air operations across the country and to reduce pressure on Bangladesh Air Force for fire support. Already BA has inducted various types of aircrafts including fixed-wing and rotary-wing. Previously they ordered Spanish made EADS CASA C295W medium lift military transport aircraft. Took delivery of 6 Mi-171Sh helicopters. Now ordering brand new dedicated attack choppers from Russia. Special Security Force, Bangladesh is a law enforcement agency which is tasked with to protect prime minister, president and foreign dignitaries to visit the country. Bangladesh Air Force F-7BGI Fighter Plane Armaments & Specifications/BAF Fighter Jets Update-2017: Bangladesh operating F-7BGI interceptor fighter jets in numbers. Chinese Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group built these single engine fighter aircrafts for Bangladesh with most advanced avionics and other sub-systems. Upgraded F-7BGI can carry and fire BVR & WVR air-to-air missiles, GPS/Laser guided bombs, Anti-Ship Missiles (AShM) and two types of rocket pods to fire unguided rockets. New engine has a wet thrust of 82kN. These fighter jets can carry 3000 kgs of weapons payload. BAF has 32 F-BGI fighter jets operational, mainly deployed as interceptor role. F-7BGIs are the “stop gap” combat jets while Bangladesh Air Force sourcing 4++ generation fighters from Russian origin. Bangladesh Army ordered two CASA CN-235-300 medium range military transport aircraft from Spain. These two plane will be used for army air operation like tactical air lift and army logistical air support. CN-235 was jointly developed & manufactures by the PT. Dirgantara Indonesia and Spanish CASA. It can be modified as ground support gunship, which already has been done and in active service in Royal Jordanian Air Force. Indonesia, America, Turkey, Spain, France, Malaysia and such more than 20 countries has using almost 273 units of this plane. Bangladesh Navy now a three-dimensional armed force of the country by operating two Chinese Type 035G Ming-class submarine, which was commissioned in active in last 12 March this year. Bangladesh Navy is constructing a new base at Rabanabad in Patuakhali named BNS Sher-E-Bangla, which will be the country's largest naval base with submarine berthing and aviation facilities.  Meanwhile, a separate submarine base is under construction at Pekua in Cox's Bazar. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had observed the ceremony and inaugurate the commissioning of these 2 submarine of Bangladesh. BNS Sheikh Hasina is a new naval base being developed for the Bangladesh Navy. This will be the first full-fledged submarine base of Bangladesh Navy. Sheikh Hasina laid the foundation stone of a submarine base in Pekua in the coastal city of Cox’s Bazar. China handed over the two Type 035G Ming-class submarines to the Bangladesh Navy on 14 November 2016.
