Bangladesh Army tasked to build 14000 makeshift shelters for the Rohingya refugees. With the help of United Nations and other aid authorities from around the world Bangladesh Government arranging the whole work. Along with the army other armed forces and paramilitary will also participate to successfully finish the job in time.  Bangladesh Army has reputation to complete such construction projects in due time with higher quality. Previously Bangladesh Army carried out such construction works and completed the “Ashroyon Prokolpo” for the homeless peoples funded by the government and various donor organizations in the past.  8 square kilometer area has been selected near Bangladesh-burma border in Cox’s Bazaar and Teknaf to build the refugee shelters. Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave an emotional speech at United Nations general Assembly about the plight of the Rohingya Peoples facing from burmese army.
