Crisis With Saudi Arabia: Qatar Signed $12.2bn Weapons Deal With American Boeing For 36 F-15 Strike Eagle Fighter Jets

Qatar signed a $12 billion defense deal with USA to buy 36 Boeing made F-15 Strike Eagle fighter jets for Qatar Emiri Air Force. Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries includes Egypt, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain cuts tie with Doha and accused the country for supporting extremists. In last November Boeing and Doha agreed on a deal for 72 F-15 fighter jets. Somehow that deal wasn’t materialized. US officials told the media that this defense tie with Qatar will enhance interoperability among these two nation for security and other issues. However, US military’s largest base is located near Doha, Qatar’s capital city. Qatar denied allegations and stand firm against GCC countries. Bangladesh Navy Buying Two Chinese Navy Guided Missile Frigate With “Hot Transfer” To Increase Naval Fire Power To Protect Sea Area

Two Chinese Navy multirole frigates will be inducted by Bangladesh Navy in 2018. Maybe Type 053H3 or Type 054 are coming to BN. Bangladesh increasing its naval fire power faster to protect total 118,813 square km of sea waters. China helping Bangladesh to build a formidable navy in the Bay of Bengal.  Bangladesh seeks more modern air-defence frigates and capable littoral combat warships. And those ships should be built locally in Khulna Shipyard and or in Chittagong Dry Dock Limited. This will give commercial off-set to Bangladesh.  In future Bangladesh Navy will be the second largest powerful navy with large fleet of surface combatants in the South Asia and one of the most powerful in Asia. Bangladesh Navy will get AW159 Wildcat Helicopters in last of 2017. Bangladesh modernizing its armed forces under the “Forces Goal – 2030” upgradation program.  This helicopter has Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Anti-Surface Warfare (ASuW) and Over-The-Horizon-Targeting (OTHT) capabilities.  AgustaWestland AW159 Wildcat has been in operational with British Royal Navy, Royal Army, South Korean Military, & Philippines Navy.  Bangladesh Navy is also operating two Dornier Do-228NG Maritime Patrol Aircraft from Germany. Two AW109 SAR helicopters built by the Italian Leonardo Company.  Bangladesh will also get some few utility and ASW helicopters soon.

China giving $1 billion to Bangladesh Air Force to buy Chengdu J-10B, Y-20 heavy lift transport aircraft and many more. Russia offered Bangladesh Navy (BN) a totally new type of stealth frigate. Moscow also offered Bangladesh submarines, armored vehicles, missiles and many more. Bangladesh Army (BA) will buy Russian Pantsir S1 Surface-to-Air Missile Gun system. Bangladesh Military power increasing by acquiring most advanced weapons systems. Bangladesh Air Force already deployed Chinese FM-90B SHORAD system. Russian Pantsir S1 is an incredible air defense system which will boost Bangladesh’s defense capabilities.  Low to extremely low flying aerial targets can be engaged with high probabilities of hit by this SAM system. Pantsir S1 can detect, track and hit aircrafts, helicopters, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, UAVs etc. It has a limited capabilities to engage ground targets too. This SAM system can fire some armor-piercing projectiles.  The 30mm dual cannon designed from the aircraft gun and its rounds has a maximum range of 4km while minimum is 2 meter. This dual gun system has firing speed of 5000 rpm and can carry 1400 rounds in its cell and it’s fully automated.  Russian Air Defense Forces and Aerospace Forces has deployed the P
